Amanda Haworth is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Certified in Nurse-Midwifery. Amanda is passionately devoted to caring for women while improving their health and helping them ensure their rights are protected. She provides women’s healthcare and education to females of all ages, including young and pre/postmenopausal females for mood and anxiety disorder management, thyroid and hormone imbalances, acne management and more while practicing shared decision making. She practices non-judgmental care as she strongly believes in autonomy of clients.
Amanda received her undergraduate degree from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor in Science of Nursing. She earned her Master in Science of Nursing with a focus on Healthcare/Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix prior to continuing her education in Nurse Midwifery. She then completed her graduate degree from Frontier Nursing University with a MSN in Nurse Midwifery. She is Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and licensed by the Kansas State Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
Amanda is also certified by the Yoga Institute as a Prenatal Yoga instructor and is certified to teach prenatal and baby and me yoga. She specializes in substance use disorders and mood and anxiety disorders in women. She is currently in progress to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner so she can more effectively care for clients with mental health disorders.
