Katherine is Founder and Executive Director on Empowered Senior dba Empowering Seniors a 501(c)3 with a mission to Equip, Educate & Empower retirees and their families through complex aging issues and overwhelming mature life tasks. Primary focus is on HOUSING & quality of life matters.

Katherine is a Certified Senior Housing Professional® and Certified Senior Downsizing Coach® providing senior living guidance and professional Senior Move Management® services.

In her family real estate practice, Ambrose Team, there is a sincere commitment to helping Seniors with complex housing decisions.
Katherine is the Senior Real Estate Specialist®(SRES) on the team, and the only Realtor® in Kansas to be recognized by the National Association of REALTORS® with the prestigious SRES Outstanding Service Award.

Katherine is a national faculty member for Senior Real Estate Institute; and will lead a Learning Lab at the National Association of Senior and Specialty Move Managers® (NASMM) at their national conference in Philadelphia this coming October.

Locally, Katherine is best known for her television program; and in-person LIVE Empowered Senior seminars that she hosts at Botanica, on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Both programs were launched in 2019.

New in 2022 is Downsizers Club, a support group style monthly workshop.

Katherine is serving a second term on the Wichita Estate Planning Council's Board of Directors; and is highly engaged in the aging services community especially related to home services and Senior Living Communities across several South Central Kansas counties.

Katherine has a robust local platform, while also emerging nationally, as a leader addressing all topics related to health, leverage and empowerment for Seniors and their loved ones.
